Favorite Resources

Updated: Jul 2

I wanted to share some of my favorite resources with you that helped me through my first pumping journey. I know that there are so many different ones out there and these are just a few suggestions to get you started.

Books:

My favorite way to multitask is with a good audio book so all of these can be found on Audible

The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding – Diana Wiesinger

This was a great thorough introduction into breastfeeding.

Work Pump Repeat – Jessica Shortall

This was the most helpful guide I found as it cut straight to the chase and is a quick read/listen.

The Happy Sleeper – Heather Turgeon, Julie Wright

This is a “sleep training” book that I read multiple times my first 6 months.

Helpful Websites:

Aeroflow

These guys will help you get a breast pump through your insurance! This is extremely helpful. They would also remind me when I could get free new pump parts through my insurance program.

https://exclusivepumping.com/

A lot of my friends raved about this website, and they said it taught them all about pumping.

https://takingcarababies.com/

This is a great resource on everything babies and ranges from sleep training classes to general baby advise.

Instagram Accounts:

takingcarababies - helpful account that goes along with the above mentioned website

LengendairyMilk

This is where I got all my tips and tricks regarding pumping and where I learned all about the second let down and power pumping.

Podcast:

Pregnancy Podcast by Vanessa Merten

This was my absolute bible during my first pregnancy.
